Get on your wall today! Neutralize negative factors.
When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, "What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?" Nehemiah 4:1-2Your enemy doesn't care when you're not making progress. It is interesting that so long as Jerusalem lay in ruins and not fulfilling the purpose for which it was established, the enemy did not care. It was only after God gave the vision to Nehemiah to rebuild and when the people strengthened their hands for a good work, that the voices of opposition began to be heard.
It is a good sign to be accused of inadequacy by forces that were more content with you doing nothing than doing something great for God.
Get on your wall today! Continue to do everything that God told you to do! Keep doing your work while the enemy complains, belittles you, and make threats against you. It will be music to your ears as you glorify God while advancing His agenda and neutralizing negative factors one by one.
